Not sure how to answer this. If the question is 'what's the lake?' then its Lake DeSoto. If the question is 'What's it like?' then I'd say imagine a small, local coffee shop. There a few places to sit inside, a nice big deck outside. The coffee/food/drinks selection is tightly curated but very familiar and approachable. The staff is friendly and helpful. You can also rent boats and buy bait. If the question is 'What's the _____ like?' I can offer guesses. Coffee: good and usually from a local roaster. Espresso drinks and coffee. View: great, looks out onto the lake. Food: think clever megastore chic. They make good choices with familiar ingredients. Beer: what you'd want near a lake, sometimes a local brew too. Staff: helpful and friendly.
